Dear Mr. Craig A. Menear:
My name is Kaitlyn C. Currently, I am in eighth grade and is making progress in a new invention. My invention is called the Maglet. In other words, it basically is a magnetic outlet. The Maglet takes the use of a regular electrical outlet to a whole new level. I strongly believe that if you are interested in selling my product, we can make a change in everyday lives, solving the problems of loose electrical outlets and getting energy in a quicker and more efficient way.
After I did some research, I came to a decision for the price of my invention: $45. This price is pretty reasonable because this invention will bring a whole new kind of technology that will be a helping hand to transport energy instantly, without any troubles or issues. The structure of the Maglet is a close estimate to the one of an electrical outlet. Like an electrical outlet, it has a neutral bus, hot bus, a ground frame, the screw connection, the stab in connection, the receptacle enclosure, the swing-arm brackets, etc. Instead of the plastic six-holed outlet cover, it will be replaced with a block of magnet to stick the cords to get energy. The advantage of this invention is that it will come with one magnetic plug without the three prongs that can be used for the Maglet. So basically, with the price of $45, you get the Maglet with one magnetic plug. It’s like getting two for the price of one. A basic electrical outlet costs about $30 and a regular cord (e.g. phone charger) is about $2. Together, the total would be about $32. In addition to this, I will earn some revenue, so the price for the Maglet ended up to be about $45. The need for this product is pretty high because if you just search up “how to fix loose outlets”, there will be an abundant amount of websites and videos that try to teach the public the solutions. As you can see, the problem of loose outlets is a huge dilemma in many homes. Imagine you’re on your way to work and you have to plug in your phone, but when you plug the cord in, it seems to keep falling out. You would have take the time to figure out what’s wrong and you would need to find a way to fix the outlet. However, if you have a magnetic outlet that would not have the same problem, you wouldn’t be one second late to work.
I know that there are experts out there who know how to fix loose outlets and you can also learn to do it online. But what if you didn’t need to take the time to do research and figure out ways to fix it, you would have less trouble if you never really have a problem. Your daily life can carry on without any predicaments at home.
To sum up, I really hope that you can consider what I have said and think about having interest in my invention. This product will innovate and establish the true meaning of getting energy in a quicker and more efficient way through a high-quality level technology.
Sincerely,
San Gabriel, CA 91776
